LOEWE is an expert in refractory materials both in the liquid phase in metal production as well as in their further processing in furnaces. Our services include cost estimates, refractory design, project planning and imple­men­tation, with subse­quent cost control and commissioning.

Our portfolio of activities includes the profes­sional handling of all types and shapes of refractory bricks, concretes, prefa­bri­cated components, covers and instal­lation elements, as well as ceramic fiber material. We also grout (mux) the cavities between the refractory lining and the steel structure and repair, among other things Coke ovens by means of ceramic welding. We are profi­cient in all common spraying and gunning? methods, including Shotcreeting.

LOEWE offers refractory lining systems, repair and maintenance of all core aggre­gates used in the production of pig iron and steel. Our specia­list­s­in­stall refractory linings, gunning, grouting, shotcreeting, spraying and dry gunning methods. We manufacture prefa­bri­cated refractory components and offer our own drying processes for our customers’ aggre­gates. We develop new and sustainable refractory concepts in the area of design.

We undertake the design, execution and super­vision of all refractory construction activities for furnace construction. Our range of services includes refractory lining for new and existing plants, for example for pusher-type, hearth and walking beam furnaces, annealing furnaces or roller-type conti­nuous furnaces.

Our machines are state of the art and our experience in processing refractory materials is based on a wealth of knowledge. We work with partners all over the world and use our practical experience in processing materials in furnaces. For our customers, we are a neutral and manufac­turer-independent partner for refractory products.
